Wellington Academy - Testimonials

Dear Wellington Staff,
There are really no words that could fully express my gratitude for how well you all have treated my children for the past three years. When we first arrived there I was new to motherhood and terrified to leave my daughter at a new place, so far from home, and so different from the nanny she had known. She quickly adjusted and formed close attachments to the staff and students there. She has always looked forward to going to school and what a wonderful feeling that is for a working mother. Over a year ago, I struggled again with the thought of leaving my new baby away from home, but it was reassuring to know he would be in the very tender care of the nursery staff.
Daphne has had wonderful adventures with her friends chasing critters outside and she has thrived while learning about space, community helpers, healthy habits, and how to write her letters. She has no less than a half dozen items she has proudly crafted at the end of every day. She loves the holiday parades and still knows the words to her favorite patriotic songs. She begged for us to invite her teachers to our home and she picks flowers for them on a weekly basis.
Finley was born such a content baby and his transition to daycare was not disruptive for him at all. He is secure, sweet and gets excited when we arrive at school each day. He’s learning words, how to blow kisses, and a teacher always holds him close when he has to say goodbye to us each morning.
You all have cared for them when they were sick and when they obstinate; through diaper changes, snot and tears. Your patience, guidance, warmth, comfort, cheerfulness, and kindness have had a profound impact on my family.
We are so thankful for the role you all have had in our lives for the past three years and you all will be missed tremendously.

Thank you ladies so very much for taking such amazing care of our crazy little Dilly! From day one of our short stay here at Wellington you have treated him as you would your own and that makes this momma feel so reassured when I am at work and can’t be with him. Thank you, also for treating my older son, Ryan just the same when we would come in and get him. We have always felt so welcome. I hope we will see you all again in the future. It takes a big heart to teach and love children and you all represent that to the fullest!
Thank you again!!

Ms. Whitty,

I was prompted to write to you after the amazing performance last night at the VPK graduation ceremony.

Last night was absolutely phenomenal! I can not say enough about how much last night meant to me and my family. We have been so proud of our son Taylor and all his good behavior recently. When we were told by Ms. Cindy that he was to be placed in the front row for the ceremony, well we just didn't know what exactly that meant at the time. After last night I really understand how much progress he has made! We enjoyed every minute and admire all the efforts it takes to gather about 60 five year olds.
The process of choosing a place to care for your child is always extremely hard, as I am sure you know. Wellington Academy has gone over and beyond our expectations! Taylor has had his struggles through the year but he has grown and learned so much while being here. The relationships that he has been able to develop with his teachers is truly touching. To know and see how much these teachers care for him is one of the most comforting things, especially when he spends a majority of his day at Wellington. Everyone from his permanent teachers, the teachers that step in from time to time and the ladies at the front desk, have been an absolute pleasure.
As parents it has been extremely nice to be able to talk to his teachers about any problems he is having and solutions in which to take care of them. The ladies at the front desk have been just as helpful with any issues we have encountered over the time we have had Taylor enrolled. You have an amazing staff!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to each and every one of you that helped put on a most memorial night for us parents.

Thank you
Emily Simmons

I just wanted to thank you for teaching my Great Granddaughter with such an excellent curriculum. It has truly made a wonderful difference in her life. Between your schooling and her Grandmother (YaYa) She now has a wonderful outlook on life and many opportunities. I am looking forward to seeing Sophia graduate this May.

Thanks again.

Thank you again for all of your wonderful service to Leya and our family. Your teachers that have worked with Leya have all been so wonderful and helped her feel secure and loved during this time of upheaval in her life. She had never been exposed to a child care setting before and we could not have asked for a better first positive experience for her. Thank you!

Jackie
