My name is Shannon Reinking-Hurd and I have worked at Wellington Academy since March’2016.
When I made the decision to apply to Wellington, I had been at my previous childcare center for eight years. As soon as I came to the center, I knew I had to work here. From the moment I walked through the door, I felt the happiness of the children.
They were engaged, laughing and engrossed in their classroom activities that were tailored for their developmental age.
As I’ve continued to work here in the one year old class, I have seen that what I saw upon my original arrival was just the surface.
The children at Wellington Academy are encouraged, loved, respected, and are cared for beyond measure. The center goes above and beyond to ensure that we have everything we need to make a successful, fun, engaging and loving classroom for the children.
I have been working with children for the past 28 years. In that time, I have never worked anywhere that compares to Wellington Academy.
This center takes care of its employees like family. They are supportive, encouraging, and truly want the best for their staff.
I LOVE working for Wellington Academy because to have been given this opportunity; I’m finally home.
